Howard W. Jokinen, 66, of Embarrass, died Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, at his residence.

Howard Wayne Jokinen was born July 10, 1947, in Virginia to Wayne and Dorothy (Kippola) Jokinen. He graduated from Virginia High School. After graduation, he proudly served in Vietnam with the U.S. Navy. Upon his return, he went to work and retired from Erie Mining Company.

He loved hunting and fishing, and always kept busy doing mechanical work. He had a generous nature.
