Robert J. Lundquist died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at Cornerstone Villa in Buhl.

He was born Nov. 16, 1947, in Virginia to Aune (Maki) and John Lundquist, and was their only child.

He graduated from Virginia High School in 1965, then worked for the local mining companies. After retiring, he moved to Alaska where he so loved its beauty and serenity. He returned to Virginia after 14 years, to be with his family.

He was a very loving father and grandfather. Some have said, “his heart is as big as he is!” He chose to donate himself with the hope of helping others, and one day fnding a cure for cancer.
